The boys are off school today and tomorrow so we are just hanging around the house. Last week I was so proud of myself because I went to the farmer's market and found a nice watermelon for a dollar :-) The boys LOVE watermelon. Well they ate it for 2 days and then got bored with it, so I cut it into cubes and froze it. Since it is fall (and since I don't usually make popsicles this time of year), I didn't have but one left when all three of them decided they wanted one. You know how that is...one says "I wanna popsicle", and then the next one says it and then they are all wanting one. So I pulled out the frozen watermelon and ran it through the blender with some Kool-aid. Here they are being silly and enjoying their watermelon slushies. They were pretty tasty!

I took these yesterday in the back yard. Dirt, leaves, sticks and toys everywhere but happy boys. Our yard has been so dry this year. We don't need a sandbox because they just play in the dirt where the grass has died. Oh well, maybe I can try to seed those spots in the spring.

Did you use watermelon flavored kool-aid? Sounds so yummy!!! I love anything like that with fruit in it!
Love the picture updates. Something special about a house full of boys.
Oh, and I love the look on Justin's face! It looks as if that slushie is VERY COLD! :0
God has blessed Michael with a wonderful wife. I am so proud of you.

So good to talk to you yesterday. Always LOVE looking at your blog!
Where have I been?! I'm just realizing that I'm neglecting all my blogger friends in the middle of my link list. I never have time to look at all of them, so I usually do the first few at the top or bottom of my list. I haven't visited you or Kim N or Kayla for ages. I'll do better from now on.
I enjoyed all your pics. I LOVE watermelon! One time Libby S. and I went out and bought a watermelon and split it in half and I ate the entire half all the way down to the rhine and then wished I had her half too!
Watermelon slushies. What a great idea. I know I'm commenting dreadfully late, but I've been out of the loop for a while. Love the pics of your boys. Dirt and popsicles - what a great life!
