So, since I just typed this recipe for my mother in law, I decided to copy and paste it here for my blogger friends. Hope you enjoy!
Crescent Rolls or Cinnamon rolls
Dissolve 1 package of yeast in 1 cup of very warm water, add 1/2 cup of sugar, let stand for 30 minutes.
Add 2 beaten eggs, 1 stick of margarine, 1 tsp. of salt, and 4 cups of flour.
Mix, let stand overnight or 6-7 hours. Cover with a damp cloth (or use a large bowl with a lid on it). DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
Next morning, divide into 3 parts. Roll each part in a circle, and spread with soft margarine. Cut into pie shape, 8 times. Roll up, starting with wide end. Place on greased baking pan. Cover with plastic wrap. Let rise 2 hours. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes, brush with margarine and bake 2 min. more. Mary Ellen (the lady who gave me the recipe) said she always doubles this recipe , because once you start making these they expect them.

For cinnamon rolls, spread the dough into a rectangle and spread soft margarine on them. Then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture, roll up and slice.
For cinnamon rolls, ice with powder sugar icing.
*May put into a large bowl with a lid and let raise overnight, Tupperware or plastic one.

The boys weren't too horribly dissapointed because they knew I had bought them some sparklers. They were happy about that!
