Resurrection Weekend

We had a really nice Resurrection weekend. Saturday night (after another romp at the farm) , we dyed eggs with the boys. This year I was able to find a really nice religious package with some great stickers that relate to the Resurrection.
Resurrection Sunday was great. Our pastor delivered a great message as usual and afterward we had dinner with my Matlock family in-laws. My mother in law is a great cook and we were stuffed! Unfortunately I forgot my camera but the boys and Megan had a lot of fun hunting Easter eggs, eating candy, and being spoiled by Grammy & Papa.

Below are pictures of our egg dyeing
Lots of chicks, lambs, crosses, stained glass windows, church stickers & other things relating to new life & Jesus' resurrection!

I found this really cute lined Easter basket last year the week after Easter on sale for a dollar!

Woodland Adventures Part Three

To read these posts in order.. Scroll down to "Woodland Adventures Part One" and read backwards.

Part III:

Right before we went home, the boys wanted to jump on the hay rolls. This is just majorly exciting to them.

I love this picture of Ryan.
Swinging on vines. How much better can it get?

Justin loves rocks. He brings them home every time we go.

Old married couple ;-)
Clover confettiOne of my favorite things about Indiana.... I love the farms! Everywhere!

Woodland Adventures Part Two

Just some pictures of my fellas

I always get flowers... :-)

O.k. Where there is water, boys will gravitate! And usually....
Someone ends up getting muddy or wet. Jonathan got some mud on his shoes, then tried to kick the mud off the shoes. But instead of kicking the mud off, the shoe came off and landed in the water.Justin trying to fish out the shoe with a stick
Another cute Ryan pose

Woodland Adventures Part One

Yesterday when Michael got home from work, we all piled into the van and visited our favorite spot. The farm is a combination of fields, woods, & ponds. This time we spent most of our time in the woods. We all love going and the boys especially feel like we are always on a treasure hunt.

I have decided to do this in several posts because of the number of pictures.

Beautiful pink blooms.
A set of matching antlers

12 small morels! Shriek! :-) Though not very big, it is exciting to find them this early. The poplars are just barely starting to bloom (blooming poplars is a sign they just might be popping out).

Here is one close up before we picked it.

I don't know what this plant is called but it looks like a bean pod with fuzzy seeds inside. I

The reason there are so many pictures of Ryan is that he is camera shy with photographers. I was trying to get something frame-able!
Jonathan with a Mayapple(Not completely bloomed yet).Serious! He looks so much like his daddy.
