Day at the farm part I

It has been so long since I last posted! I have been extremely busy lately. We had a big yard sale last weekend and of course I spent a lot of time going through cabinets, closets, and storage to see what junk I could find. It's amazing what we accumulate! The sale did well! Not only did we de-junk, but we made a little bit of money too. Always a good thing.

Yesterday we needed a break and some family time, so we decided to visit our favorite spot. We have a friend who has at least 200 acres of farm land. She is a sweet little old lady and we have permission to roam, hunt, fish or camp any time we wish. I thought I would share some pictures from our day. I created 3 posts posts to get them all in. If you start at part 3 and then go backward, you will get the pictures in order. Sorry about that. I am still figuring out how to do this!

The creek bed is so neat because it is all lined with smooth limestone. There were small puddles everywhere. Jonathan could not resist going for a swim!

Jonathan and Ryan loved the water. Justin wanted to crack open the rocks so he could see the "crystals" inside. The area in the picture below is under what used to be a railway bridge

Justin patiently posing for me

There were lots of these rolls of hay in the fields

The boys think what they call "hay-jumping" is a fun game

I loved the family fun day update, and the fun pics! Thanks for sharing them. =)

Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog! I'm sorry I forgot to tell Josh (from your church) to tell you hello. With us only having a short time to visit with all 7 TLC people, I forgot. =( But, please consider yourself hugged from me! =) I hope to get to re-meet you someday when we are back. =D
Your cobbler sounds delicious! And the flowers in your hair looked cute! =)
Happy 4th of July!
Love, Heather =)

Kim, David did some sort of upgrade on his computer and didn't save my address book (again). Email me sometime so I can have your address again. Thanks for the comment on my blog!
