At SCCA, October is the month for field trips. This month we had an all school picnic at Spring Mill Park, attended a Fire Prevention presentation, and finally we graced Appleacres (an apple orchard and market) with our presence.
We started the tour by riding around the orchards in the back of a truck. That was a chilly day! As I am writing this, the weather is now perfect, seventy-degree weather! Lovin' it!

Ryan was "big stuff" since he got to go with the big kids.

This was taken in the freezer. There are at least three freezers there holding thousands of apples. They are famous for their yummy cider.

I took this picture while in the back of the truck.

They also sell pumpkins and lots of other harvest vegetables & candy. The boys had an apple, popcorn, cider and their candy when we left. I liked this cute display so I took their picture on it. I have a hard time getting them to all look at me at the same time!

Looks like y'all had fun.
Aww! How could you do it without me!! :-) Thanks for the great pics!!
Oh I do remember those field trips and Applacres was always a fun one!!!
What fun - I'm wanting to take the kids to a pumpkin patch or hay ride or some other fall fun. But at this rate it'll have to be a one-horse-open-sleigh ride. Your pics made me want to carve out the time to do it.
The picture turned out adorable though!!!!
